Emily & Josh's Aswarby Rectory wedding

Aswarby Rectory is just a beautiful venue, and Emily and Josh's wedding in July 2025 showed it off at its very best. Here's their film and a little bit about their day.

Why I love filming at Aswarby Rectory

Aswarby sits in the countryside just outside Sleaford, and it's all about the setting. There's the house itself, the gardens, and a proper wild meadow that's perfect for a walk together away from everyone. I've filmed at Aswarby a few times now, and I always come away with something I love.

A summer Aswarby Rectory wedding

It was just a really lovely day. All of Emily and Josh's friends and family were just so lovely and kind.

July at Aswarby means long evenings and lots of golden light. Emily and Josh took a little walk through the meadow, just the two of them, and those few quiet minutes are a lovely part of their film. They also had Emily Rose singing for them, and live music always adds so much.

A great party

The evening was a great party. Everyone went absolutely crazy to "Zombie" by The Cranberries, which was hilarious!
