Joe & Hannah's Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding

Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of the most famous places to get married in London, and in September 2025 I headed down from Lincolnshire to film Joe and Hannah's Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding. Here's their film and a little bit about their day.

How I met Joe and Hannah

I actually met Joe through Clare from Little Posy Photography, their photographer, and we met up a couple of times before the wedding, which was lovely. Joe is a filmmaker as well, so being trusted to film his wedding was a real honour.

Getting married at Old Marylebone Town Hall

This place has serious history. Paul McCartney married Linda there in 1969, and Ringo Starr married Barbara Bach there in 1981, so Joe and Hannah were in very good company.

The building is grand without ever feeling stuffy. Tall columns, pale stone and big windows mean the light is gorgeous to film in, and the famous steps out the front are made for that first walk out as a married couple.

An intimate London reception

After the ceremony, everyone headed to the restaurant for the reception, and it was just intimate, beautiful and lovely. The speeches were really heartfelt, and there was such a wide range of them. It was just a beautiful atmosphere.

It was lovely to go down to London for this one, and a real honour to be part of Joe and Hannah's day.
