Samantha & Marko's Conti di San Bonifacio wedding

Samantha and Marko's Conti di San Bonifacio wedding in Tuscany in April 2024 was my very first destination wedding, and it's one I'll never forget. Here's their film and a little bit about their day.

My first destination wedding

Samantha and Marko and their families were all from America, and to this day I still don't quite know how they found me, but I'm so glad they did. For them to trust me to film their destination wedding was just the greatest honour.

I was out there for five amazing days, and I had such a good time. The day after the wedding I had a little trip around Siena before flying home the following day, so I got to do a bit of exploring too. So incredible.

Conti di San Bonifacio, Tuscany

Conti di San Bonifacio is a wine resort in the Maremma, the quieter southern corner of Tuscany. The rolling hills were beautiful, with vineyards and olive trees in every direction and views that just keep going.

And the golden hour is just incredible. When the sun starts to drop, the whole valley turns gold, and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever pointed a camera at.

Samantha and Marko had a celebrant for their ceremony, which meant they could make it completely their own.

A film for their anniversary

Samantha later added the documentary film, the longer and unhurried edit of the whole day, and she wanted to give it to Marko on their second anniversary. It landed in their gallery that very day, just in time for them to watch it together that evening. That's exactly what these films are for!
